Aranee began with one idea: leather should be worn, not saved. We work with full-grain and lamb hides, weave and quilt them in small runs, and finish each piece so it softens into you rather than away from you.

We buy in small lots and grade each skin for grain, weight and stretch. The best panels go to the front; nothing is wasted. Weaving a single gilet takes the better part of a day — which is exactly why we keep the collection small and the making honest.
